6×6 Chipboard: Sugar and Spice Other supplies:
Canvas
Acrylic paint – brown & white
Thread
Sewing machine
Zip glue
Liquid paper adhesive

 Instructions:

1. Paint canvas with brown acrylic paint. (Note: It is not necessary to paint area underneath where paper will be.)

2. Cut Catch A Wave (blue) paper to fit canvas front leaving a 1/2″ border for canvas to show.

3. Cut Wave (green) paper into half circle shape and adhere to blue paper.

4. Use sewing machine to stitch a border 1/4″ in all the way around blue and green paper piecing.  (OPTIONAL)

5. Use liquid glue to add paper piecing to canvas front.

6. Cut out houses from Kraft Home paper and add to canvas.

7. Punch out House shape (I also used a craft knife to trim excess around house and other Kraft die cuts used.) and stitch (OPTIONAL) felt heart over printed heart onto the house. Add house to the canvas.

8. Add Kraft Kut sun shape to canvas. Cut cloud from Catch A Wave paper and add over sun.

9. Paint chipboard letters, when dry add yellow border or ink edges. Add “welcome” to canvas.

10. Add bird Kraft Kut behind letter “e.”

11. Add ribbon to edge of canvas all the way around. (I used Zip Dry glue.)
