Craft Paint: Pink Paint and Light Blue Paint
DMC Floss: White
Foam Squares (dimensional adhesive)
Cardstock: White
Instructions:
- Take back of picture holder and glass out.
- Paint frame edges, inner edges of photo opening and slightly into the frame front. Set aside to dry.
- Paint letter/bracket in color choice. Set aside to dry.
- Lay paper (pink damask) on top of frame front and trim to fit. You can leave a bit hanging over the edge as you will sand edges off.
- Adhere paper to the front of the board. Get as close to edge as possible to avoid any curling on the edges, etc. Ink edges.
- Turn frame over and use exact-o blade to cut the center area out for the image.
- Sand all edges for a clean, precise edge. (outer and inside the photo area)
- Trim a 1 1/4 x 7 1/8 inch strip of striped paper to run along frame bottom. Ink edges.
- For the layer on top of the paper strip, cut another strip of 1 1/4 x 12 inch strip and then trim down into 1 1/2 inch pieces. (final size 1 1/4 x 1 1/2)
- Cut notches into each piece. Ink edges.
- Using both sides of the patterned paper, layer on top of each other, slightly offsetting them, using foam adhesive. (bottom side using blue back side, top piece using the strip)
- Using white cardstock, cut 4 diamond shape pieces (about 2 1/2 inches tall from point to point). Fold diamonds in half to get your banner shapes. Ink edges.
- Add pink letter stickers for title.
- Loop DMC floss between folded pieces, add buttons. (stitch on or adhere to corners)
- Using the Little Star stamp set, stamp with brown ink. Add information with brown marker.
- Add lace border to top right corner and adhere buttons to lace.
- Tie ribbon piece around letter and adhere to frame.
- Add mini photos to accent frame front.
- Place glass, photo and back into the frame.
