Supplies:
Cosmo Cricket Snorkel Crafting Kit
Cosmo Cricket Snorkel Ready-Set-Chip
Sierra Pacific 4″ wooden block
12″ Paper Trimmer
Scissors
Tombow Mono Permanent adhesive
Beacon Zip Dry adhesive
6 wallet sized photos
1 sheet 12×12 red cardstock
Pop Dots/Foam squares
Black journaling pen

Instructions:

** Unless otherwise noted, ink all edges of patterned cardstock.

1.  Cut 6 pieces of the following measuring 3 1/4″ square.

3 pieces of School’s Out (1 green side up, 2 fish side up)

1 piece of Current (blue side up)

1 piece of Umbrella (Umbrella side up)

1 piece of Boardwalk (dotted side up)

2.  Place your 3 1/4″ square of School’s out on one of the panels of your wooden block using Zip Dry.  Now cut a piece of beach towel measuring 1 3/4″ x 3 1/4″.  Attach to your Schools out patterned cardstock at the bottom only applying adhesive to the two sides and the bottom of the piece. You want the top to remain open as a pocket.  Next add the life preserver border from your borders sheet. Measure it to fit at the top and attach again making sure you leave the top open.

3.  Crop 2 of your photos and mat on red cardstock so there is a slight 1/16″ border all the way around each photo.  Slide these inside the pocket you created. Add 3 light blue circles from the Ready-Set-Chip sheet that fit in the center of each life preserver.

4.  Take your 3 1/4″ square Current piece, blue side up and attach it to the top of your cube.  Then attach the Popsicle from your Ready-Set-Chip.  Find your border strip that says, “I wish, I wish to be a fish.”  Cut it as shown and attach in a staggered fashion next to the Popsicle.

5.  Attach your Umbrella 3 1/4″ square to the panel directly across from the pocket panel you have already created.  We will create another pocket, but this time on the side of our panel instead of the top.  Use a horizontal wallet sized photo that you have mounted on a piece of Schools Out, green side up.  You want the green to be seen on top and bottom of the photo by 1/4″. Attach your photo mat piece to the Umbrella block by applying adhesive to 3 outside edges and leaving the right hand side open as a pocket.

6.  Find the red bracket journaling card on your Elements sheet.  Cut it out on the edges of the red bracket and then cut it to fit inside your pocket.  You will have to cut the bracket off on the left hand side to create a straight edge to make your piece fit.  Journal on your card and slide it in the pocket.  Attach the purple fish from your Ready-Set-Chip down in the lower portion of your picture overlapping on to your patterned cardstock.  Also cut a small yellow submarine from the strip in your border sheet and apply at the top left of your photo.

 7.  Take your other School’s out piece of patterned cardstock and mount it to the bottom of your cube, fish side up.

 8.   Take your precut piece of Boardwalk and mount it on your cube dotted side up on the front panel.  Now crop one of your photos into a square and mat this on a green side of Schools Out so you have a 1/4″ green border all the way around.  Attach this off to the left hand side of your cube centered from top to bottom.

 9.  Cut the words “Life Saver” and the life preserver out of your Elements sheet.  Pop dot the life preserver down on the right lower right area overlapping photo and patterned paper.  Cut the “Life Saver” words out individually and place them as shown.

10.  Now we will work on the last panel.  We will again be creating another pocket. Place your final 3 1/4″ square multi colored fish side up on the final (back) panel.  Crop your photo to fit on a piece of Boardwalk dotted side up that measures 2 1/8″ x 3 1/4″.  Attach this to the bottom of your Multi colored fish piece with adhesive leaving the top side open to create a pocket.  Mount your cropped photo on a piece of Boardwalk red side up so there is a 1/16″ inch border all the way around.  Mount this photo on the bottom of your pocket piece centering left to right.

11.  Create a border strip that measures 3/8″x 3 1/4″ out of Carbonation, striped side up.  Mount this on top of the pocket and overlapping on to the top of the photo.

12.  Now create 5 journaling strips using your Umbrella patterned cardstock, ivory side up.  You will want to cut the strips about 1/2″ wide and various lengths to fit in your pocket.  Attach a blue round chipboard bubble piece from your Ready-Set-Chip sheet to the end of each.  Journal on these and then slide them into the pocket.
