Instructions:
1. Remove the glass and wooden backing piece from your frame. Lay the frame face down on the grey and yellow side of a sheet of Something Old patterned cardstock. Trace around the outside edge and the inside photo insert. Now using your scissors cut 1/8″ inside the frame line. Pierce a hole in the center of the photo insert area and cut 1/8″ past the edge of the drawn line. You want to cut outside of that line all the way around by 1/8″. When you lay this piece on your frame front you will see the frame and photo insert shows a slight border all the way around. This piece will serve as your template to build the front of the frame on.
2. Paint front, edges, and back of wooden frame using your Desert Sand Acrylic paint. Allow paint to dry in between coats and make sure you do enough coats so there is no longer any brown showing through.
3. Cut 2 strips of Something Blue patterned cardstock to measure 1″x6″, orange side up. Repeat this step with Something New patterned cardstock grey side up.
4. Cut a strip of Something True, blue side up measuring 3 1/2″x6′. Now along the 2 long edges use your decorative edge pinking scissors to cut a pinking design. You want to make sure the panel you are pinking is at least 3 1/4″ wide so keep that in mind as you are cutting.
5. Place your frame template in front of you with the photo side up on top. Now starting at the bottom outside edges attach your orange strips to the 2 outside edges. Next attach the grey next to the orange. (You will have some hanging over inside the photo frame) Last attach the blue piece with the pinked edges so it overlaps on to the grey on both sides. Now trim the excess pieces that are hanging over so they are flush with the edge of the template you created.
6. We will now cover the top of the template that remains a pale yellow. Find the leftover piece of Something New and trace the top portion of the template on to the ivory orange side. Cut this out and adhere it over the yellow portion of the template. Attach this entire covered template to the front of your frame lining up the edges and photo insert area. From your sticker sheet in your Everafter paper crafting kit cut 2 circles from the border and place it where the orange patterned cardstock matches the brown. Repeat on the opposite side.
7. Next we will be working with our Ready-Set-Chip for the Everafter line. You will need the 2 long floral pieces that are blue and brown. Attach them as shown in the main photo, including the single flower pieces near the stems.
8. Add the round orange floral Ready-Set-Chip piece where the two floral stem chipboard pieces meet up.
9. Now find your Everafter elements sheet. Find the picture with the two love birds. There are actually two, one that has yellow tones and one with orange. You want the orange love birds. Trim this to fit the frame and place in the upper right hand area above the photo insert.
10. Now find the “I Love You” on your Ready-Set-Chip and place it overlapping on to the love bird piece. Add your photo cut to size and replace the glass and the wooden stand to the back of the frame.
Optional: You may add glitter to the chipboard pieces and love bird pieces if you desire.
